T-Mobile has announced the release date of the Motorola Defy Android smartphone via the company’s Twitter account.  According to the tweet, the handset will land on the mobile market on November 3rd.  You can get the handset at a price of $99.99 under a 2-year T-Mobile contract.

The 3.7-inch display Android-based device is noted for being a rugged phone with its specs and features including an 800 MHz OMAP 3610 processor, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 1.25GB memory onboard, and a 1540 mAh battery. The mobile phone will also feature the MotoBLUR 1.5 enhancements.  Moreover, it has been confirmed that the Motorola Defy mobile phone will be capable of Wi-Fi calling which allows users to have voice calls over Wi-Fi instead of the usual cellular network.  Finally, other goodies are present such CrystalTalk Plus to ensure better call quality, Adobe Flash Lite, and DLNA for sharing media.

The specs may not be as impressive as the other smartphones being released these days, however, the company boasts off its selling feature which is the device’s ability to resist strains including scratches, dust, impact, and water so users will be more comfortable carrying this device with them compared to other fragile Android phones when outdoors.  So, what do you think?!? Research in Motion and Sprint has finally made an official announcement of the BlackBerry Style 9670 smartphone. A lot has been waiting for this mobile phone and many are excited to take a peek at this handset which is dabbled into other unconventional form factors. The BlackBerry Style 9670 smartphone is slated to have its release date on the 31st of October at a price of $99.99 on a two-year contract.

The BlackBerry Style 9670 is actually RIM’s first QWERTY flip phone and will offer specs and features including – the BlackBerry 6, which is the company’s newest operating system. Moreover, it will come packing with dual high resolution displays, a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, 512MB of RAM, 8GB memory pre-installed which can be enhanced up to 32GB memory chip, 360×400 pixel resolution, Wi-Fi b/g/n/, Stereo Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G over EV-DO rev.A. At a price of $249 with a $100 mail-in rebate on a contract, you will be able to get a grip on the Motorola R2-D2 Limited Edition. Of course, this smartphone which will be arriving at Verizon Wireless is inspired from the beloved Star Wars character.  The handset is slated to have its release date in the 30th of September.
