Announced at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show was Lenovo’s entry level notebooks under the B series which are named as the IdeaPad B570 and B470. The machines are dubbed to be perfect if you are looking for affordable laptops for home use. Both the Lenovo IdeaPad B570 and B470
notebooks offers specs and features including a choice of up to 2nd generation Intel Core i5 processor tagging along the Intel Technology 2.0. The CPUs come with the Sandy Bridge graphics. Moreover, the laptops are offered in a choice of 15.6- and 14-inch LCD displays and HDMI connectivity. It sports the RapidBoot technology for Windos 7 thus delivering faster start-up and shutdown. The machines are crafted in a brushed-metal effect exterior.
More on its features, the Lenovo IdeaPad B570 and B470 laptops pack Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and eSATA as well as a DVD burner. Another laptop under the Asus five Sandy Bridge notebooks is a smaller model of the above mentioned. It is codenamed as the G53SW which will be packing the same high-end specs and features. However, this will come in a 15.6-inch LCD display as well as an option for a 6GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 640GB of hard disk drive, and a DVD burner.
As for the other laptops unveiled, we have them fall under the N53SV and N73SV series. These series will pack the GeForce GT540M chipset as well as a 2GHz CPU. Apparently, the Samsung NF210 netbook is actually Samsung‘s first netbook to be power driven by an Intel Atom dual core CPU. Moreover, the netbook features Fast Start which allows users to start up the machine faster than other devices. The Samsung NF210 netbook is anticipated to ship in India at a price of Rs. 22,900.

According to them, the awaited notebook offers hardware specs including an Intel Core i5-460M processor. A NVIDIA GeForce 310 graphics card with 1GB memory is also included. Moreover, it has 2GB of RAM and a 500GB of hard disk drive for storage capacity. The 13.3-inch LED-backlit screen notebook measures in at only 19mm thick and weighs in at about 1.66 kilograms. The gadget is encased in a 0.75-inch magnesium alloy. The machine will be powered by the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Battery-wise, the U36 comes with a four cell battery and promises up to ten hours of battery life. Other goodies packed on the device include HDMI output and USB 3.0 ports.
Available in black and silver variants, the ASUS ultraportable U36 laptop is expected to have its release date in three weeks time and it will be available at a price of $999. Some folks, however, are already taking pre-orders for the machine now.
