However, would the guys from Asus want to be left out? Naah, as reports state it that the company is preparing to unleash five Sandy Bridge notebooks on their pipeline. First on the line up is the G73SW gaming machine which, of course, is suited for gaming professionals. This guy boasts off specs and features including an Intel Core i7 processor along  with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, GeForce GTX 460M graphics card. This gaming notebook will also have dual-storage bays, full 1080p HD resolution, and USB 3.0 for connectivity.  This 17.3-inch device has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and will start selling at a price tag of $2500.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">And the long wait is over, as the guys from Engadget have seen the full specs and features of the <strong>ASUS Ultraportable U36 laptop</strong>.  According to them, the awaited notebook offers hardware specs including an Intel Core i5-460M processor.  A NVIDIA GeForce 310 graphics card with 1GB memory is also included. Moreover, it has 2GB of RAM and a 500GB of hard disk drive for storage capacity.  The 13.3-inch LED-backlit screen notebook measures in at only 19mm thick and weighs in at about 1.66 kilograms. The gadget is encased in a 0.75-inch magnesium alloy.  The machine will be powered by the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  Battery-wise, the U36 comes with a four cell battery and promises up to ten hours of battery life.  Other goodies packed on the device include HDMI output and USB 3.0 ports.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Available in black and silver variants, the ASUS ultraportable U36 laptop is expected to have its release date in three weeks time and it will be available at a price of $999.  Some folks, however, are already taking pre-orders for the machine now.</p>

Moreover, it comes with a 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB hard disk drive for storage capacity.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The new <strong>PeeWee Pivot 2.0 Laptop</strong> weighs in at 3.7 pounds.  As for the specs and features, the machine comes with a 10.1-inch LED resistive touchscreen display which can be rotated 180 degrees.  It is powered by an Intel Atom N450 at 1.66 GHz processor.  Other hardware specs include a 1GB memory, a 160GB parallel ATA hard disk drive, and runs the Windows 7.0 operating system.  The Pivot 2.0 also comes wired with Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth for connectivity.  The laptop also comes with a stylus, and a webcam.  Since this is for children, it boasts extreme ruggedness with a water-resistant keyboard, a rubber slip-resistant grips for the filthy hands of your little ones, and a plastic shell that can withstand minor drops.  More goodies for the Pivot 2.0 include 15 educational games, security software which allows parents to block unnecessary websites, a browsing history, and the ability to limit the amount of time that your kids are spending using the PC.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In case you’ve forgotten, we’ll give you a recall of the Dell Inspiron Duo Hybrid netbook’s specs and features.  First is that the mini-laptop can actually be converted from a netbook to a tablet-looking gadget.  The display can be swiveled into a full 360 degrees boasting a netbook.  Once you close the lid, tada! It’s none other than a tablet.  Cool, eh?</p>

And with that, the company has rolled out another addition to the netbook industry – the <strong>HP Mini 1103</strong>. The mini-laptop is dubbed as the perfect travel companion and it is targeted towards small businesses and mobile users who need Windows apps while out travelling.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The HP Mini 1103 offers specs and features including a 10.1- inch LED backlit display at 1024 by 600 pixel resolution.  The machine is powered by Intel Atom N455 running at 1.66 GHz or N475 at 1.8 GHz processors.  The HP Mini 1103 netbook also features up to 2GB of RAM and consumers can also choose between 160GB or 320GB hard disk drives.  It also gets an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card and an option for Integrated HP Mobile Broadband.  In addition to the specs, the device features 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.  An integrated VGA webcam is also present for video chat.  It also offers a 93 percent QWERTY keyboard and touchpad with two soft-touch buttons and scroll zone, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, and a media card reader.  The netbook is really one portable device with its total weight of 2.78 pounds, but can fluctuate depending on your battery choice between a 3-cell and a 6-cell battery.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Finally, the Mini 1103 features HP’s QuickSync technology which allows users to synchronize files and the HP QuickWeb software.  It will be pre-installed with the Windows 7 Starter, but SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 or FreeDOS can also be chosen depending on mobile user.  The HP Mini 1103 comes in classic black color and will have its release date in December and starts at a price of $299.
