JVC GY-HM790 PROHD Camcorder
JVC’s new GY-HM790 is a new flagship camcorder in its ProHD line. Recently introduced this week, the GY-HM790 offers better picture quality compare to GY-HD250 which makes this device really attractive for broadcasters. It has an innovative modular design and supports multicore or fiber based production.
JVC’s new GY-HM790 PROHD Camcorder features integrating 3 x 1/3″ CCDs that can produce 1920 x 1080 images and capable of shooting 1080i, 720p, or 480i formats, provides uncompressed 4:2:2 full HD signal wit its HD/SD-SDI port.

When it comes to ENG, GY-HM790 offers analog SD pool feed input, 4.3 inch LCD display, and 1.2 MP high-resolution viewfinder, 2 XLR inputs for recording uncompressed LPCM audio.
This shoulder-mount camera also has an optional ASI output module that provides a direct feed from the camcorder to a satellite uplink or microwave transmitter
JVC GY-HM790 PROHD Camcorder will be available this summer with starting price of $11,995, that also includes Canon 14x zoom lens.
