Pentax has launched a new “rainbow colors” version of the K-x DSLR camera.  The Pentax K-x Rainbow Digital Camera is a limited edition which will be available in Japan starting July 23, 2010.   K-x Rainbow digicam will be released via company’s collaboration with Tower Records Japan.

K-x ‘Rainbow Colors’ digicam comes in very appealing and funky color blends such as blue, pink, red, orange, purple, and pink.  This limited edition digicam shares the same specs as the less colorful standard K-x.   It features a 12MP CMOS sensor.  It can shoot up to 12,800 ISO in expanded range.  The K-x Rainbow digicam is capable of shooting HD video in 720p at 24fps.   The results can be viewed via its 2.7 inch LCD screen.   The DSLR  comes also equipped with face detection technology that detects up to 16 faces.   It also features Live View function and auto focus.

News has it that the  K-x Rainbow digicam will only be produced for 1, 000 units.   This will be ready for sell by July 2010 at a price of $800.  Let’s take a look at the pictures of this DSLR which is probably the most colorful digicam in the market:
