Added to Samsung’s line up of camcorder is the new Samsung HMX-E10 pocket camcorder. The Samsung HMX-E10 is a point and shoot video camera capable of 1080p HD video capture at 30 frames per second. This camcorder that is noted for its being ultra-slim meaning it’s enough to be slipped in pockets has a 1/3.2-inch CMOS sensor. Photo addicts can also capture stills with its 8.0 megapixel camera.
What’s more surprising about the Samsung HMX-E10 Pocket Camcorder is that it features the 270-degree swiveling lens. With the swiveling lens feature, users can experience fun into higher level when capturing videos because you can now be a part of the video without putting much effort like straining your arms by rotating its lens.
As for the other specs of the Samsung HMX-E10 pocket handycam, here’s a quick glance:
- 2.7-inch LCD touchscreen
- Full HD H.264 video capture at 30fps
- 2x digital zoom
- One-touch upload to the Web
- Direct USB, HDMI ports
- microSD card slot for expansion
The Samsung HMX-E10 camcorder also features preset modes including – Panorama, Vignetting, Defog, Sketch, and Miniature. Furthermore, all videos can be transferred on your PC using the pop-out USB port, which we’ve seen from Flip camcorders. Recharging the battery can also be done using the direct USB. That feature makes it really portable as you don’t have to bring the cable with you. The camcorder also comes with Samsung’s Intelli-studio which allows you to edit-and-play your video without having to install supporting software.
Available in black and ivory, the Samsung HMX-E10 pocket camcorder is expected to be released in September at a competitive price of $199.99.
