Acer Liquid Stream Cell Phone running Qualcomm SnapdragonA new Android-powered from Acer has popped up again at the Google IO last week. And the handset is named as the Acer Liquid Stream Android phone.  The device, perhaps, is already the fifth Android smartphone from Acer, only this time it features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.  ( Click on the photos to enlarge).  The handset has already made its way through the FCC.

The specs might resemble the Nexus One, but the Acer Liquid Stream Android phone is certainly a little thinner to the Nexus One but heavier than the latter. The Acer Liquid Stream will run the Android 2.1 OS, but mobile users have the options to upgrade it to Froyo. The makers of the handset also added the company’s own user interface which is the Touch 3D version 4.0.

The Acer Liquid Stream cell phone is expected to hit the market probably sometime in October of 2010.  Sadly though, there are no exact details yet about the price of the handset. But don’t worry for we’ll keep you posted about this new device.
