Nokia has added another set of handsets to their Symbian^3 platform alongside the Nokia N8. They are the all new touchscreen and QWERTY devices – Nokia C6 and C7 mobile phones. These smartphones have promised to provide a unified mobile experience together with the N8.
Nokia C6 Mobile Phone
First up is the compact Nokia C6. This full touchscreen smartphone has a 3.2-inch AMOLED panel together with the new ClearBlack Display (CBD) which according to the company will deliver better outdoor visibility. The C6 packs specs and features including an 8 megapixel camera, WebTV support, Nokia Navigation. The mobile phone shoots video at 720p resolution. It comes with a microSD card slot that can be enhanced up to 32GB. Lastly, it gets support for your favorite social networking sites right from the homescreen.
Nokia C7 Mobile Phone
If you are looking for a more affordable handset than the upcoming N8, then the Nokia C7 is just for you. It gets a 3.5-inch AMOLED screen along with the CBD technology which provides better visibility under the bright sunlight. The C7 has an 8 megapixel camera and can capture videos at 720p resolution. Though this smartphone has the same specs and features as the Nokia C6, the C7 promises more memory and a stainless steel design making it the sleekest device in the market at 10.5 mm thick.
Both the devices offer access to Ovi Store for downloading a number of apps. There isn’t any specific release date yet but these smartphone ranges are expected to ship later this year at a price of €260 for the C6 and €335 for the C7.
