One of the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturers, Nokia, has finally announced the shipping date for the company’s latest communicator which is the Nokia E7.  Posted via Nokia’s Twitter account, it was said that the mobile phone will be ready to be shipped on December 2010.  However, specific release date will vary from one country to another, but the handset is expected to be very much available just in time for the holiday season.

The device which is branded under the E-Series range is touted to be a focused more on its enterprising capabilities.  The smartphone will offer the Symbian^3 OS along with other specs and features listed below:

  • 4-inch capacitive touchscreen AMOLED display @ 640 x 360pixel resolution
  • 350MB memory onboard
  • 16GB external memory that can be further enhanced
  • 8-megapixel camera with 720p video capture and dual LED flash
  • WLAN 802.11b/g/n
  • HDMI output
  • HSPA; GPS
  • Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound
  • FM Radio
  • 3.5mm headset jack
  • USB ports
  • 1200 mAh battery

The Nokia E7 also features a tilt- slide keyboard.  It will also come with the latest Bluetooth 3.0 technology.  Users can also download a lot of apps and games via the Nokia Ovi Store.  The handset will come in Dark Grey, Silver White, Orange, Blue, and Green.  Finally as announced by Nokia, the ultimate business phone will retail at a price of €495 or about $690.
