The idea of using your phone to pay for something you’ve purchased can be very exciting, right? And this can be done through the NFC mobile payment application. This application has been actually were once used as trials in the United States as well as in other parts of the world. And just recently, one of the leading brands in the mobile phone industry, Samsung, alongside KT South Korean mobile operator has outed the first Near Field Communication (NFC) smartphone for the Korean market. The handset is then dubbed as the Samsung SHW-A170K.
Apparently, the Samsung SHW-A170K smartphone features capability of making basic payments of the items bought through the SHOW Touch NFC services. The phone can be used as transportation ticketing which will be available at the counters at the buses, taxis, and subways. This can also be used as a payment method for the purchases in some convenient stores.
In addition to the mobile phone’s main feature, the Samsung SHW-A170K smartphone offers specs including a 3.2-inch touchscreen display. It also comes packing with a 3 megapixel camera, DMB support, and Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth for connectivity. The handset will be available in two color options – black and white. The release date and the price of the gadget have not been disclosed yet so we still have to wait for the device’s launch in the near future.
