It has been announced early this January 2010 and is expected to be released this June with the estimated price of $999.  We’ve heard about a tablet mini laptop, light weight, small and incredibly beautiful Lenovo Ideapad S10 last 2008 and Lenovo has made another achievement for bringing the world’s first hybrid PC – the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Notebook.

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid netbook features an innovative 11.6 inch HD LED multitouch detachable screen. It has a unique and classic design made especially to provide two PC’s in one device, having their own processors and operating system, making them work together and independently.

These two separate devices of the  mini notebook include a multitouch tablet runs by Linux with Qualcomm ARM 1Ghz Snapdragon processor and the Windows 7 notebook with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU 4100 processor.  Lenovo Ideapad U1′s Specs  include , 4GB memory (512MB for the tablet), 2 USB ports, Wi-Fi.  It is also equipped with built-in 3G, integrated video camera, and stereo speakers.

Lenovo Ideapad U1 allows consumers to choose the device they would like to use for their activities. You can easily detach the screen to immediately switch from a clamshell mode to a mutitouch slate tablet through the Lenovo’s “Hybrid Switch technology.

The tablet mini laptop weighs 3.8 pounds equipped with trendy reddish exterior casing.

As for battery life,  the mini-notebook’s battery can power up the computer for 8 hours while the tablet’s battery only last for about 5 hours.

Unbelievably awesome! Wondrous! Phenomenal! The two PC’s has been engineered to work together as well as independently sharing the same battery to provide the best entertainment and enjoyment to public. It really doubles the fun!
