One of the leading laptop PC manufacturers, Lenovo, has added another notebook to their collection though it has not been officially announced yet.  The company has come up with another ultra – portable machine dubbed as the Lenovo IdeaPad U260 notebook.  The IdeaPad U260 laptop seems to be packed with a lot of advanced functionalities as well as specs and features including the following:

Lenovo IdeaPad U260 Notebook

  • 12.5-inch High Definition screen with anti – glare display
  • Intel Core i3/i5 Ultra-low voltage (ULV) processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 320GB Hard disk drive
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • USB 2.0 ports
  • VGA and HDMI output

Too bad the U260 doesn’t have an optical drive or an ExpressCard slot. However, what the company boasts is that the machine comes in an interesting chassis in magnesium – aluminum alloy.  The laptop only measures 0.71 inches thick and weighs in at 3.04 pounds making it extremely portable.  As for the battery-life, the four-cell battery is expected to provide up to 4 hours of battery life which makes this a little downside, though.  The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 notebook will also come in color variants including – Mocha Brown and Clementine Orange.  Further details about its release date and price have not been disclosed yet, but it is expected to hit the market at around $1000.
