Lenovo Ideapad Y560d 3D Notebook
Earlier, we’ve written a post about the first 3D notebook by LG (LG Xnote R590 3D Notebook) to hit worldwide in the future. And now, the fun just doesn’t stop as we’ve got another 3D laptop which is already rolling out in the market – the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d 3D Notebook. Are you already sick of 3D related news yet? Naah, don’t be. Wait until you’ve heard how the IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook fares.
What sets the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook from other 3D enabled PCs is that it doesn’t make use of the NVIDIA discrete graphics card. Instead, the machine uses the TriDef 3D system allowing ATI graphics for its 3D effect via a Mobility Radeon HD 5730.

Specs-wise, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook has a 15.6-inch 3D display panel at 1366 x 768p resolution. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, 1GB dedicated memory of ATI Radeon HD5730, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 750GB hard disk drive. The IdeaPad Y560d is also equipped with a Blu-ray drive for watching 3D movies. Along with the specs are the DVD burner as well as Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR and Wi-Fi b/g/n. The Y560d comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
PC users will also get three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output ports, a USB/eSata combo port, ExpressCard, and VGA. As for the battery-life, the machine promises a maximum of five hours with integrated graphics.
The IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook is already out in the market and ships within 5 days. Price starts at $1200 depending on user’s configurations.
