Just last month, MSI talked about releasing notebooks for their F Series and guess what? The company has finally unveiled two notebook computers under the series – the FR600 and FX600.  Both the MSI FR600 and FX600 notebooks sport stylish 15.6-inch widescreen display.  The laptops feature 3D totem seal coating technology preventing smudging and scratching, cinematic THX surround system, ECO Engine Power System, and Turbo Drive Engine technology.  The two will be power-driven with a choice of Intel Core i5 processors, though the FX600 comes equipped 1GB memory of NVIDIA GeForce GT325M video card as well as the company’s GPU Boost technology enhancing PC users’ multimedia experience, and Intel HD graphics for the FR600.

The laptops run the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.  More on the specs, the MSI FR600 and FX600 notebooks feature HD webcam; DVD burner, four internal speakers, chiclet keyboard, and a brush finish metal hotkey. Also, there are HDMI ports, 4-in-1 card reader, a pair of USB 2.0, e-SATA USB combo, mic, and headphone as far as input and output is concerned.

As for the connectivity, the notebooks come with Gigabit Internet, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. Packed with a six-cell battery, the FR600 weighs over 5 pounds, while the FX600 is a little heavier at 5.3 pounds.

And with that, we now sit back and relax as we wait for further details about the release date and price of the MSI FR600 and FX600 notebooks. Meanwhile, let’s just take a peek at the images of these laptops below.
