Toshiba has just recently announced the newest netbook which combines both the Android platform plus the NVIDIA Tegra processor.  The mini notebook is codenamed Toshiba AC100 netbook.  This stunning device is said to be perfect for PC lovers who wants to have instant messaging, and Internet browsing pushed to the limit. And did you know that the Toshiba AC100’s battery life can provide up to 8 hours run time and promises up to seven days of standby time? Cool, eh?

This mobile internet device comes in a black and orange design is easy to bring anywhere because it’s ultra-slim and ultra-light as well. The Toshiba AC100 mini-notebook is just 14mm at its thinnest and weighs just 870 grams. The smartbook has a 10.1-inch TruBrite screen with LED backlit panel at 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. It also sports a full-size keyboard which allows users to use them with ease when interacting with friends.

The Toshiba AC100 mini-laptop also comes packing with a number of pre-installed applications which users can use immediately including – POP3 email client, IMAP and Exchange support, Documents to Go which enables users to view and edit MS Office files, Opera Mobile, and the Tosh Media Player which supports HD1080p video as well as music and pictures.

The AC 100 netbook will be available for release in August 2010.  However, Toshiba will leave us a little intrigued with the AC100 smartbook as the company is still mum about the price of this laptop PC here. That is why, for now, we can only dwell on the photos of the new Toshiba AC100 netbook.
