Toshiba has once again come up with the latest in their laptop collection. This time it’s dubbed as the Satellite A660 Multimedia Notebook scheduled for release in June 2010. This new multimedia notebook features the Intel’s wireless display technology or WiDi wherein you can transfer images, stream videos and other multimedia content from notebook to HDTV through a wireless connection. The device also features the Toshiba’s Resolution + upscaling technology improving the quality of pictures played from Blu-ray drive and DVD.
The Toshiba Satellite A660 Notebook sports a 16-inch LED-backlit display with a 1366x768p resolution. This new and trendy notebook packs an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor depending on the user’s modification. As for the other specs of this new laptop, it offers HDMI output along with DVD Supermulti optical drive or Blu-ray driver. It also supports up to 8GB of RAM, up to 64 GB hard disk drive, 512MB/1GB NVIDIA graphics card, eSATA/USB combo port, a 5-in-1 card reader, and a 1.3 megapixel HD webcam. Connectivity-wise, it supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. This machine is run by Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
Lastly, Toshiba Satellite A660 Laptop boasts their USB Sleep-and-Music feature. This feature enables PC users to play their favorite music from a connected MP3 player through the device’s incorporated Harman Kardon speakers when the notebook is in Stand By or Sleep Mode.
