Full range of  M4 motherboards from ASUS now support the Phenom II X6 AMD Processor.  This is the upcoming six-core processor from AMD codenamed Thuban that we posted earlier.

ASUS M4 Series also take advantage of the Core Unlocker functionality that enable you to activate the extra CPU cores of AMD Phenom II X6 for more processing boost.

For those who have existing M4 Series, all you need to do is to update the BIOS to enable the AMD’s six-core processor on your motherboard.  You can now download the BIOS updates at http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/m4_6cores/.
