Asus Eee Keyboard – A Portable Keyboard PC with Touchscreen
August 3rd, 2009 | posted by: DenzThis is the Asus Eee Keyboard which was announced during CES 2009. This is not just a keyboard, it’s a fully functional PC with full QWERTY and 5 inch 800 x 400 touchscreen. Just like the Commodore 64 which was released by Commodore international in 1982, but unlike Asus Eee keyboard, of course, commodore has no touchscreen.

The idea here in Asus Eee keyboard is to connect it to a video monitor or HDTV wirelessly and after that you can use it to check the e mails, surf the web, write text, or use skype, etc.

The Asus Eee portable keyboard features 1.6Ghz Atom processor, 1 Gigabyte of RAM, wiFi, Bluetooth and wireless HDMI, its hard to believe that Asus has packed these things within a slim, portable keyboard. Through wireless HDMI it is possible to make any television into your monitor. There are two versions for this keyboard – the wired and a wireless one. The price of the wired version is cheaper which is around $400 while the wireless version is below $600.
