The new PillCam ESO 2 is the recently unveiled endoscopic capsule at Gastro 2009 Conference in London. The PillCam Colon 2 is a safe and effective method to see what happening in your colon to detect bowel abnormalities like GI Bleeding, Crohn’s disease as well as refractory malabsorptive syndromes like Celiac disease .

This video capsule is made of a smooth plastic also about a size of a vitamin capsule and have video cameras on each end. It also has Automatic Light control for crispy details. Inside the colon, the PillCam imaging video capsule take 14 images per seconds which is then transmitted to the receiving device to record and to view on a computer monitor.
