Acer Liquid Stream Android Phone w/ 720p Video Recording

Acer Liquid Stream Cell Phone running Qualcomm SnapdragonA new Android-powered from Acer has popped up again at the Google IO last week. And the handset is named as the Acer Liquid Stream Android phone.  The device, perhaps, is already the fifth Android smartphone from Acer, only this time it features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.  ( Click on the photos to enlarge).  The handset has already made its way through the FCC.

The specs might resemble the Nexus One, but the Acer Liquid Stream Android phone is certainly a little thinner to the Nexus One but heavier than the latter. The Acer Liquid Stream will run the Android 2.1 OS, but mobile users have the options to upgrade it to Froyo. The makers of the handset also added the company’s own user interface which is the Touch 3D version 4.0.

The Acer Liquid Stream cell phone is expected to hit the market probably sometime in October of 2010.  Sadly though, there are no exact details yet about the price of the handset. But don’t worry for we’ll keep you posted about this new device.

Acer E110 Android and P300 SmartPhones Revealed

Two Acer’s handsets have appeared courtesy of Bluetooth SIG. The Acer E110 and P300, both of these smarthphones have touchscreens display, quadband GSM, Bluetooth and and UMTS/HSDPA.

The E110 phone runs on ANdroid OS and works on UMTS/HSDPA (900/2100 MHz or 850/1900MHz) networks, It has touchscreen display (no words about its resolution), HSDPA and A-GPS and bluetooth.  Below the screen are 4 touch-sensitive keys .

The P300 runs on unknown version of Windows Mobile.  This smarthphone features touchscreen display, HSDPA/HSUPA, bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and USB 2.0

Both of these phones are manufactured by Chi Mei Communication Systems.  No further info about the detail specifications, pricing and release date of E110 and P300 smartphones.  But more info about the specs maybe revealed  by Acer at Mobile World Congress next week.
