Yes, the Samsung Vibrant has just gotten official and is ready for its release date on July 21st. Announced via Twitter by T-Mobile, The Samsung Vibrant is expected to pack a 1 GHz Hummingbird application processor, and six-sensor axis as well as its 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen which we all know improves viewing angles under the direct sunlight and boosts touch sensitivity.
Specs-wise, mobile goers can anticipate that the handset will come packing with quite the same specs as the Galaxy S. This slim, rounded- edge look mobile phone packs a portrait QWERTY keyboard, 1.3MP camera, 3G, and MicroSD memory card slot. The handset also got dedicated shortcut keys so users can enjoy quick access to several messaging apps. The handset is available at a price of $19.99 on contract.

Well, AT&T has taken the wraps off the new Samsung Captivate, a member of the Galaxy S smartphone. It seems as though the AT&T is getting serious about the Android thingy as it collaborates with Samsung for the availability of the Samsung Captivate. The handset will be powered by the Android 2.1 platform.
The Samsung Captivate mobile phone is designed to give mobile consumers entertainment, quick messaging, and social networking experience all packed in one fascinating handset. The Samsung Captivate sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and a 1 GHz Hummingbird application processor which is said to be three times faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. The mobile phone’s also got a 5MP camera along with a 3.5mm audio jack. Onboard is a 16GB of memory which can be enhanced via memory card slot of up to 16GB.
Additional specs for the Samsung’s Captivate include an AT&T Navigator, MP3 player, 3D sound, Camcorder with autofocus which supports HD video recording of 720p video, Bluetooth 3.o, HSPA 7.2Mbps , and Wi-Fi 802/11 b/g/n for connectivity, and Tri-band 3G connectivity.
Features-wise, the Android phone boasts a 6-axis sensor combining the accelerometer and gyroscope. The company claims that the new handset is the world’s first beam projector phone. The device comes in a full 3.3-inch WVGA (800x480p) resolution touchscreen display. The Samsung AMOLED Beam has a built-in pico projector that shows or project wide array of contents including photos, videos, games as well as entertainment to its maximum screen size of up to 50 inches. It is also 1.5x brighter than the previous model.

Samsung Electronics just unveiled today it’s first android powered smartphone. The Samsung I7500 Android Phone is the first Samsung device to be powered by the Android platform. The phone features a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash, 7.2Mbps HSDPA / WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity 8GB internal storage with support up to 32GB via a microSD card, a 3.5mm headphone socket and a microUSB port.
