Back in September, we’ve heard Samsung unveiled the SF and NF series as addition to their pipeline. And now, Samsung which is among the global brand names to make it big in the technology sector have finally launched the company’s series of portable computing markets in the Indian market. it is said that these machines are packed to perform utmost performance, lightweight, and improved battery life. Apparently, the Samsung NF210 netbook is actually Samsung‘s first netbook to be power driven by an Intel Atom dual core CPU. Moreover, the netbook features Fast Start which allows users to start up the machine faster than other devices. The Samsung NF210 netbook is anticipated to ship in India at a price of Rs. 22,900.

As for the Samsung SF510 notebook, the laptop features a spill-proof keyboard as well as the Fast Boot technology and the proprietary’s AllShare software for sharing media. The notebook is expected to be available at a price of Rs. 55,490.

Samsung SF Series Laptops and NF Series Netbooks

Samsung has unveiled new lines of portable PCs – the Samsung SF Series laptops and NF Series netbooks. The company has released a total of six units under the two new lines. These newcomers targets to meet the end-users expectation regarding performance and appearance as the series features a “shark”like design and is enclosed in a glossy interior built to be durable and scratch-resistant.

Samsung SF Series Laptops

The Samsung SF series comes in a choice of 13.3-inch SF310, 14-inch SF410, and 15-inch SF510 screens. The new line comes in a matt black interior and glossy ivory exterior. Users can opt for Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors. The series also promises up to 7.5 hours of battery life. Other specs and features include sleep-and-charge USB ports, Fast Start Technology letting you get online fast, Express Charging mode which allows you to fully charge your battery in 2-3 hours, and a chiclet keyboard. Other details regarding memory, connectivity, video weren’t disclosed specifically though.

Samsung NF Series Netbooks

Alongside the SF Series is the NF Series which consists of NF310, NF210, and NF110. The company hasn’t divulged only partial details about the NF210 and NF 110.The NF210 claims a 14-hour battery life while the NF110 is considered the most affordable among the trio.

As for the NF 310, consumers should watch out the specs and features including an Intel Atom N550 dual-core chip at 1.5 GHz. It also comes packing with a DDR3 RAM, and a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution widescreen.

Watch out for the SF Series’ release date in October at a price yet unknown. Also, the price and release date for the NF Series hasn’t been disclosed yet. Better stick with us for updates!

Samsung N210 Plus Crystal Netbook

Samsung has introduced a new netbook under the Pine Trail-based category, and the machine is dubbed as the Samsung N210 Plus Crystal Netbook.

Coming from the second largest company of gadgets innovation, the Samsung N210 comes packing with cool features that consumers can see for a netbook – Bluetooth 3.0 and a battery life which runs up to 14 hours. Seriously?!?

Digging deeper into the specs and features of the new Samsung N210 Plus Crystal mini notebook, this guy here sports an Atom N450 at 1.66 GHz processor. The mini laptop also got a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 250 GB SATA hard disk drive which is ideal for big file storage as well as an Intel GMA 3150 chipset. The Samsung N210 has a 10.1-inch panel with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Added to the features is its glossy bezel design with fingerprint resistance.

Connectivity-wise, it is expected that the new N210 we have here will support Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. It comes pre-installed with the latest Windows 7 operating system.

Samsung’s Transparent AMOLED Laptop

We’re getting closer to the technology that we often see only in the movie such as holographic images and transparent screens that we saw in Avatar the movie. In a few months we may be seeing futuristic transparent laptop in the shops as Samsung is planning to release their 14 inch transparent OLED display laptop within 12 months time. This is one of the best product that Samsung showed off during CES 2010 together with the Ice Touch – a portable media player that is also equipped with transparent OLED display. Samsung’s 14 inch transparent AMOLED Screen Laptop is very appealing. It has thinner OLED screen, with contrast ratio of 100000:1 and also consume less power. If you are looking for a laptop to show off to your friends, i think this world’s first transparent laptop is the one that you should buy whenever it comes out.

Samsung unveils N110 and N120 Netbooks and already available in the U.S. today. The new N110 and N120 are currently available via the company’s website and various online retailers. As of the differences between the N110 and the N120 netbooks, The N120 is slightly larger than the N110, and when comes to keyboard, the Samsung N110 netbook comes with a 93% full size keyboard while the N120 netbook features a 97% full size keyboard.
